Puppy The perpetually unnamed puppy was an eighteenth birthday present for Katie. Kin drew him into the strip, at first in the wrong colour; he is made of speech bubbles. The weather-telling widget Katie drew the weather-telling widget into the strip, unaware that a widget is a gadget for the Apple Mac. The widget is, essentially, evil, and uses its weatherly skills only to aggravate its hosts. She is one of the numerous "sidelined characters" adamantly awaiting a return to the strip. The Winter Ninja The Winter Ninja "rushes from house to house, delivering gifts to cuties worldwide". Nobody knows the true identity of the Winter Ninja. Though he has been seen with all other cast members, Katie suspects that the Ninja employs stunt doubles, and is particularly suspicious that Kinders might be involved. Edward Kin's suffering brother. Edward never wanted to be made into a comic strip character, and the comic version is resultantly "neurotic and argumentative", nothing like the real Edward.
